Star Rise Quilt Pattern
Reach for the stars. One block at a time.
Star Rise is a 12-block quilt pattern inspired by the stars and celestial bodies we look up at on clear nights. Some blocks are traditional. Some are ones I designed just for this quilt. Together, they make a quilt that feels like a piece of the night sky.
Originally released in 2025 as a block of the month program, Star Rise is now available as a single, complete pattern. All 12 blocks. All the instructions. All in one professionally edited PDF you can download today and open whenever you’re ready.
Make one block a month. Power through in a weekend-a-block sprint. Or tuck the pattern into your folder of someday-projects and get to it when you’re good and ready. You set the pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to make all 12 blocks? Nope. The pattern includes full quilt assembly, but every block stands on its own. Mini quilts, pillows, wall hangings — go for it.
What size does the finished quilt make? 80" x 92". Fabric requirements for this size are included in the pattern.
Is this the same pattern as the 2025 block of the month? The blocks are the same 12 designs. The difference is that everything is now in one document instead of released one at a time, so you can work at your own pace.
Do I need a printer? It helps. You can also view the pattern on a tablet and keep your phone beside your machine.
